My wife and I got food there today but it was a disappointment. Prices have gone up but the quality has gone down. Medium spicy used to be blazing hot, which is what we like. We ordered Tom yum medium hot. It was mild and didn't taste like Tom yum. Among other things there was no lemon grass in sight. My wife ordered basil chicken but got basil shrimp instead. It looked strange and had no spiciness to it. I ordered Green curry chicken which was ok. It had some spiciness to it but not as much as I expected. Overall I would not recommend this place until they get their old chef back.

Top Thai in the absolute best Thai food in the East Bay. Seriously, if you haven't been you should. I have been pleasantly surprised by the authentic food, quality of service and food preparation every single time I dine in. If you held a gun to my head and asked me what the best restaurant in the entire East Bay was I would send you to Top Thai. (I recommend the pumpkin Curry)

Great Thai food but a bit on the pricier side. Parking can be difficult due to the small lot but the food is pretty good for the area. Have been here several times and it's a friendly establishment with good service.

Food was served quickly and looked very appealing. Nice serving dishes. Food was fresh and hot. I have been there before many years ago with my husband and two grandchildren. The food was good then just as it is now! I was with only my grand daughter this time. I must say the patio needs care. The potted bamboo used to be very green and lush but now no one cares for them. They are drying out and weeds are growing in the pots as well. I ordered yellow curry with pork, grand daughter, Nicole, had same but with vegetables, then we shared Pad Thai...sooo good!

Not bad Thai food for Castro Valley. I liked the shrimp or whatever meat you enjoy fried rice. The Tom kha soup is good also. I didn't really like the chicken bc it tasted too dry and rubbery. Stick to shrimp or tofu. The beef isn't good either.

They forgot our order. We ate three chicken wings (appetizer) of seven, drank three sips of beer and two sips of Thai iced tea. Instead of owning up and apologizing, they still charged us. We never ate or received our entres. I’m going to dispute the charge. Don’t waste your money.

I would agree with others that the menu is very simple. Was hoping that they would have pineapple fried rice. Decently priced, would choose this one over the other Thai place up the street. I got the Pad See Ew which had a generous amount of sauce to my surprise, but the chicken wasn’t tender enough.

Fantastic! Prompt, friendly service. We were seated immediately and the food made it just as quickly to our table, it seemed. Delicious and fairly priced. Will be back!

Been here for about 8 years, and I always go home with happy smile on my face. My favorite dish is Golden talay. It's seafood combo dish that melts in your mouth. I don't think it's on the menu anymore, but ask for it and they will serve you.Try it, your won't be disappointed.

Not authentic Tailand restaurant, Asst. manager Impolite . Asked for fresh rolls all out?My brother ask for white sticky rice they said they don't make it. Pictures are even on Web site showing sticky rice and fresh rolls. Again asked for a pot of hot tea , came out with small glass of hot tea. Language barrier maybe? One waitress was nice. Food was terrible they did not try to make adjustments for the poor tasting food. Makes you wonder who running this restaurant! Look for a more authentic Tailand restaurant nearby and save your money. Enjoy

Food was decent, staff was nice

Basic small and unimaginative menu. Not much love put into the food or service. Nothing more annoying when food is served and waitress disappears and doesn't make herself available to see if food is good or offer anything else needed, because they can't be bothered because they are on their cell phone. Also after bill is served, please take the card payment right away, don't make me wait another 5 minutes for that. A very meh experience.

Ok, so this now my new favorite Thai food restaurant! We were introduced to it through a friend of my husband and had to try it ourselves. We were not disappointed. We both ordered yellow curry dishes and they were amazing. I never knew it could be so good!It's on Castro Valley Blvd and has limited parking but you could park in the Rite-Aid across the street and walk over if you don't find a spot at the restaurant.
